Bouncy Castles

Have fun and bounce for FREE on our Fairy Castle and Pirate Ship bouncy castle. You'll find them down Four Square Lane. 

Bouncing begins at 9.30am.

Seeing all your favourite fairies and pirates

Entertainer pods

Dance with Fairy Buttercup, Blossom and Sweet Pea, learn Superhero skills with Batman, walk the plank with Captain Hook or see sisters Elsa and Anna perform, and more. There's so much to experience! 

At 10.30am a procession begins from the War Memorial Hall with dancing fairies, sword-fighting pirates and friends arriving to the festival. Entertainers wiill be in their pods from then.

Keep an eye out for Cinderella, Moana plus Fairy Lavender and Rainbow the Unicorn Fairy. And catch the sword fighting pirates. 

There'll be stilt walkers and circus performers, or you might like to learn to juggle?

Big bubbles are back too!

Don't go hungry!

Our local businesses are open as usual, with some serving up festival specials. From savory snacks to sweet treats, you'll be spoilt for choice. 

Ellerslie School will be whipping up fairy floss in the Village Square and Robert Street.

St Mary’s School will be popping popcorn outside Flowers of St John.

What else do you need to know?

Toilets
There's toilets available at the following locations: portaloos on Findlay St, very near the Bridge of Memories; public toilets, on the corner of Arthur Street and Main Highway and the War Memorial Hall has toilets which will also be open to use.

Baby changing facilities
The Plunket room in the War Memorial Hall will be open for baby changing and breastfeeding. Plus there’s a change table in the public toilets, and hall toilets too. 

Event info and lost children
Look out for the Ellerslie Village information marquee in the Village Square.

You can also approach any of our fairy helpers in bright pink t-shirts or one of our Ellerslie Community Patrol team for help (they're dressed in high-vis).

First Aid
Will be based on Arthur St next to the public toilets.

Parking and public transport 
Catch the train: the trains aren't running unfortunately but there's rail replacement buses. 

Parking: Ellerslie’s main street (Main Highway) will be closed for the duration of the festival and the Village’s carparks at Arthur St and Robert St will be closed. Parking in Ellerslie’s residential streets is available. Check out the FAQ for all the info.
